Geese, and happy thoughts

On the way to work this morning, I spotted something strange on the Rideau River. My naturally morbid mind began wondering it I was seeing a body, or a lump of disgusting garbage, or something else nasty. As I continued by, the nasty brownish misshapen lump resolved itself into a pair of Canada geese shepherding a line of bright yellow goslings between them.

I have resolved to take this as a sign that I should try harder to look for the positive surprises and beautiful things in life.
