channelling Mad Men

Today I feel very much like a Betty Draper wannabe, in my pale blue linen dress with its fitted bodice, full skirt, cap sleeves and little tie belt. Even with my pearls, I'm nowhere near as slender and elegant as Betty, but I look okay. It's an interesting change from the bright redd fitted sheath with a big turned collar that just screams Joan Holloway. For fall, I am planning a longer jumper with an Empire waist, designed to be worn with a little blouse or turtleneck. Peggy Olson isn't normally my style role model, but I like this one, and Peggy is my favourite femal character.
