Chicken with Pine Nuts
May. 21st, 2012 10:01 pmI found a 50 year old recipe from the then Turkish Ambassador to Canada (or more likely his wife). I had pine nuts, so I bought a chicken. I carelessly overlooked the requirement for currants, and my chicken doesn't come with the liver - it appears 21st C people aren't used to coping with innards. So I have substituted dried blueberries for currants and ignored the liver part. I figure this will make an interesting Turkish-Canadian fusion recipe. It smells delicious.
