No problem. Actually, your cookbook nibbled (pun intended!) at my curiosity and I googled St. Mildred's just to see what's out there these days. Lots of stuff, as it turns out, on the successor school (St. Mildred's-Lightbourn), not too much on the original. But one interesting tidbit I did discover was the recent death of the head nun during my time at the school. What a flood of memories that brought back! Stroppy teen that I was back then, I certainly had my run-ins with her and I could have sworn she was ancient then - turns out she was only in her mid-40s - ah, the telescoped vision of youth where anyone over 30 is older than dirt! :) Anyway, I bear no ill will and remember her now with the patina of affection characteristic of long-ago memories. RIP, Sister B. :)
