I missed a few days of posting, though I did keep working on this. For two days, I have been using baking soda and water shampoo, and an apple cider and water rinse. The verdict is that it isn't actively horrible, but I smell like a salad at first. I also feel like there might be build-up on my hair (alkmost certainly psychosomatic).

I remembered to use the electric razor. It may be time to replace it, as it took a long time to get something approaching "shaved".

I failed miserably at the grocery store - chicken was on sale, so I blindly bought eight packages. I also bought chow mein noodles. To compensate, I have a recipe for homemade noodles, as well as one for dumplings for Chinese New Year. I'll need to buy bean sprouts though. I haven't seen loose bean sprouts for sale in ages. Maybe the Chinese grocery store would have them?
